This finely balanced organic tonic water is a purist amongst tonics waters. Just two selected ingredients – besides water, sugar and carbon dioxide – open the door to a new and unique world: 100% organically cultivated aromatic Mediterranean lemon harmonised with Bolivian cinchona bark gently collected in the wild. Processing the whole bark lends our organic tonic water a natural depth of bitterness with a surprisingly woody struc- ture by adding secondary flavours to it. Its harmonious effervescence, which is reminiscent of champagne, gives this tonic water an exceptional, slightly exotic nuance of primeval forest.
Our organic tonic water is 100% natural with no added citric acid. We have reduced the sugar content and produced and bottled it to be carbon-neu- tral. In creating our organic tonic water, we have placed special emphasis on finding and selecting the very best cinchona bark. This we found in the jungle on the eastern slopes of the high planes of the Andes. Supported by the local population, two agricultural scientists from the vicinity made their way to the jungle on foot to find suitable trees and gently harvest the bark by hand. A process that takes several weeks. But one that supports the reforestation and preservation of the jungle in a sustainable manner.
